2014 marks the 50th Anniversary of the North Brunswick Police Department. We are planning several events to honor and celebrate our 50 years of service to the community.
On May 15th at 4pm, we will hold our annual Police Week event. During this event, our police officers will be honored with departmental awards for their acts. We hope that you will be able to join us to commemorate law enforcement officers and to remember their families. They are there for us, protecting us and putting their lives on the line everyday. In addition, during this event we will unveil an improved park in the rear of the police building adjacent to the rear door.
We are selling etched pavers that will be placed in the park. Pavers are available to everyone for purchase. A time capsule will also be prepared which will opened in 2064 during the 100th anniversary celebration.
A 50th Anniversary Gala is scheduled for October 25, 2014 at the Pines Manor. Details to follow.
